Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd began her journey into combat sports at the teenager age. In addition to BJJ training as well, she was also trained in boxing, wrestling and kickboxing. At age 18, Ladd made her amateur debut at WCFC. Ladd was able to beat three times consecutively at Ultimate Reno Combat. All her opponents were defeated within the first five minutes. Following that, she travelled to WCFC again and beat Leslie Rodriguez in a unanimous decision. Aspen first defeated Silvia Babyghian, before heading to fight Maddy Simmons at WCFC 9, where she faced Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia gave Aspen an unanimity loss and was able to outclass her, tarnishing Ladd's career as an amateur. Ladd recovered from the loss with a win over Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, which brought her record to 8-1. Aspen was first introduced to the sport in 2015after signing with Invicta FC for her professional debut. Invicta 11, she was able to dominate Ana Carolina Vidal to score TKO victory in the opening round. Invicta Fc 16 was her debut fight as a bantamweight. Aspen defeated Amanda Cooper with an armbar during the second round. Aspen utilized her superior wrestling skills to take down McGill in third round TKO. Aspen then fought Jessica Hoy in Invicta FC 18 at the catchweight (138.1lb) in the event that Ladd had missed weight. In spite of this, Aspen was able to beat Hoy. She won by KO in the 2nd round. Invicta FC 28 was her final bout with the club. Invicta FC 22 saw Sijara Eubanks be defeated in a an unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd competed in her UFC debut against Lina Ladsberg. She dominated Lina by pound-for-pound, and took the TKO round later in the 2nd. Ladd continued to dominate and scored an even amazing victory in her subsequent match against Tonya Evinger at UFC 229. Ladd took over Evinger's fight following the opening round. The winner also got an extra bonus for her performance that night. Invicta FC, a rematch of UFC Fight Night dos Anjos and Lee the fight was between Sijara-Eubanks in her debut fight. Both the fighters put on an exchange of blows that culminated with Ladd winning via unanimous decision and each fighter getting the Fight of the Night bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie took 16 seconds to stop Ladd and her winning streak. After a break of a few seconds after which she went on to beat Yana Kunizkaya in UFC's ESPN 7 third-round fight. As a replacement She fought Norma Dumont in her most recent UFC fight. The fight was lost by unanimous vote.
